The Féile Grianán Áiligh Chieftains Feast is an ancient-style banquette served within the walls of An Grianán Áiligh with a menu of famous Donegal produce cooked by some of Ireland’s best chefs. Expect wonderful music, folklore, storytelling and entertainment throughout the evening in keeping with the history of the site. The menu includes rare-breed Dexter meat and fish cooked over fire. Chefs will be foraging for wild herbs, seaweeds and plants to incorporate into the menu making this an authentic feast. The famous chefs include award winners Derek Creagh and Enda McEvoy. Chefs from Belguim’s famous In De Wulf Restaurant are bringing their wild cooking style with Niall Davidson, Rose Greene and Martijn Bauwens all visiting to cook. An Grianán Áiligh is being turned into a theatre of food and culture for the night in the first event of its kind in centuries on this historic site.
